Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Tech to support the clinical team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. The role targets recent graduates or entrants to the field, performing diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction.

The position offers part-time hours (30 per week) with on-site work and opportunities for mentorship, education, and skill development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency for departmental protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams and coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare exam by patient identification, education, and transport.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols and maintain timely delivery.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
