Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Cardiac Sonographer to support Washington County Aurora facilities, including Hartford Clinic, Hartford Hospital and West Bend Clinic. You will perform echocardiography studies and assist in complex procedures to aid accurate interpretations.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in sonography.
• RDCS-AE or RCS registration preferred within designated timeframe.
• BLS certification within 6 months if required by department.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound (M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, Color Flow) to obtain diagnostic images.
• Identify abnormalities and adjust imaging techniques accordingly.
• Prepare patients and obtain cardiac history to tailor exams.
• Assist in transesophageal studies with cardiologist and sterilize probes.
• Communicate findings to staff and maintain lab equipment and records.
