Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Hospital is seeking an Echo Tech to perform echocardiograms and related cardiac testing from newborns to adults. You will provide diagnostic ultrasound services, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment according to standards.

The role requires training and certification in Echocardiography with ARDMS/CCI or RDCS/RCS, or registration within one year for new graduates. A supportive team and ongoing education are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography program or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• Must have active healthcare provider BLS or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• ARDMS/CCI/RDCS/RCS certification(s) required or registration within one year for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms (2-D, M-Mode, color Doppler) and pediatric echocardiograms.
• Operates ECG, Holter, and stress testing equipment as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate procedures with physicians and departments.
