Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Echo Technologist - Inpatient Registered for a full-time day shift at Baptist Medical Center South. The incumbent will operate the Echocardiography Lab and support the Stress Lab, using proper sonographic technique to assist in physician interpretations and reporting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, ARDMS or CCI certification, BLS, and the ability to perform cardiac and neonatal cranial studies with accurate data preparation for medical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred.
• Active ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer required; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Echocardiography Lab and support Stress Lab.
• Use appropriate sonographic techniques per departmental protocols to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for physician interpretation.
• Perform cardiac and neonate cranial studies and prepare data for physician interpretation and medical records.
