Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a part-time Cardiac or Cardiovascular Sonographer in Saint Joseph, Missouri. In this role, you will provide professional and compassionate ultrasound imaging care, performing both routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures.

Qualifications

• One or more years of cardiovascular ultrasound clinical experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Obtain patient history and perform pre-ultrasound assessments.
• Participate in education and training of sonographer students and residents.
