Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to support the fast-paced cardiology clinic in Sierra Vista, AZ. The role requires at least 3 years of cardiology echocardiography experience, ARDMS/CCI certification, and BLS. Per diem, 10-hour shifts, two days per week preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular program.
• ARDMS or CCI Cardiac Sonographer certification; BLS required.
• 1–2 years clinical experience; strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures following orders and quality standards.
• Educate patients and families about the procedure.
• Provide preliminary findings to physicians and cardiologists.
• Maintain equipment quality control and safety standards.
• Support workflow and inventory to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Serve as clinical/technical expert in cardiac imaging and train staff.
