Job summary
Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer to join our mobile echo and hospital-based teams. You will perform echocardiography across pediatrics, stress tests, structural heart cases, and inpatient/outpatient settings with opportunities for outreach travel.
We seek graduates of an approved Echocardiography program and RDCS-AE certification within one year of hire, plus BLS.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) within one year of hire date
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography across pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work with a mobile echo service including same day travel to outreach facilities.
- Shift coverage Monday-Friday with day hours and occasional call.
