Job summary

Mayo Clinic Health System Wisconsin is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join our Echo department. You will perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies, document data accurately, and collaborate with physicians and senior staff to interpret findings.

The role includes training trainees, participating in stress echo and outreach, and maintaining patient safety and quality care in a dynamic, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program.
• Knowledge of cardiac pathophysiology and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience with outreach services helpful.
• Ability to work with co-workers, physicians, and all levels of healthcare professionals.
• Registry eligibility for RDCS or RCS; RDCS or RCS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete echocardiographic studies and document data.
• Document data in Echo Information Management System and other applications.
• Collaborate with Lead Cardiac Sonographers, physicians, and team members to interpret findings.
• Assist in orientation, training, and education of trainees, students, and visitors.
• Support stress lab and stress echo procedures and outreach.
