Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin is seeking a Casual Call Cardiac Sonographer to join our La Crosse team. This flexible, 0 FTE position offers pick-up shifts with a daytime schedule and opportunities to work in pediatrics, stress testing, structural heart, and other settings.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Echocardiography program, RDCS-AE within a year of hire, and BLS certification. We provide travel to outreach facilities for mobile echo, ergonomic equipment, massages,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography.
• RDCS-AE (Adult Echocardiography) certification within one year of hire.
• Current Infant-Adult BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Pick up casual shifts with flexible scheduling (0 FTE).
• Work across settings: Pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient and outpatient.
• Participate in mobile echo with outreach facilities as needed.

Education

Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography

RDCS-AE (Adult Echocardiography) certification within 1 year of hire

Infant-Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

About the Role

We are hiring a Casual Call Cardiac Sonographer to join our La Crosse team!

What you will do

• 0 FTE position, casual-flexible position (Pick up shifts that work for you!)
• Shifts: Monday-Friday, between 7:30am-5:00pm
• Minimum of 32 hours worked in a 6-week period required
• Our team of experts work in a variety of settings: Pediatrics, stress, structural heart, critical care, inpatient and outpatient.
• We offer same day travel opportunities to our outreach facilities as part of our mobile echo service.

What you need

• Graduate of an approved or accredited school of Echocardiography.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) within one year of hire date.
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
