Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is hiring a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for the Cardiology Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time role working 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

The ideal candidate will perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound exams, collaborate with cardiologists, and participate in cross-coverage to ensure seamless operations. ARDMS or CCI credentials are required within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Cardiac Sonographer experience.
• Adult Echo credentials through ARDMS or CCI required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and clinical teams.
• Experience preferred but not required; growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic heart examinations using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Provide cross-coverage and back-up support to non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.
• Deliver compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and adhere to department protocols and quality standards.
