Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Cardiac Sonographer experience.
• Adult Echo credentials through ARDMS or CCI required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic heart examinations using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.

• Provide cross-coverage and back-up support to non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Cardiology Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity with a shift of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.

Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.

Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.

Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.

Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.

Cardiac Echo Sonographer, Diagnostic Cardiology Department, Experience;

1-2 Years of Cardiac Sonographer Experience

Experience Requirements:

Adult Echo credentials through either ARDMS or CCI are required within 18 months of hire.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical teams.
