Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for the Cardiology Department at Baptist Clay Hospital. This full-time, day shift position supports high-quality heart imaging and collaborative patient care within a faith-based health system.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic exams, collaborating with cardiologists, offering back-up coverage to non-invasive areas, and educating patients throughout procedures.

Formación

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical teams.
• Adult Echo credentials through ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire.
• Previous experience in cardiac sonography preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.
• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.
