Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, Colorado seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform transthoracic and advanced echocardiography studies. You will optimize imaging, ensure quality exams for physician interpretation, and support a busy cardiology lab.

Requirements include RDCS, BLS on hire with ACLS preferred, ARRT or CVT, and about 1 year of experience. We offer sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan contributions, mentoring, CE, 401(k) match, and a Clinical Ladder program.

In the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health, the cardiologists and patients are supported by a compassionate, educated and experienced staff of nurses, technologists and nuclear medicine technologists with a total of more than 150 years of experience in the field of cardiology.

The goal of the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is to perform a diagnostic cardiac catheterization on every patient as precisely, thoroughly and efficiently as possible. The end result is a diagnosis that will lead to the best treatment possible while prolonging and improving the quality of life for each patient.

About The Career:

The Cardiac Sonographer should be able to perform a variety of transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiogram, carotid, venous, and arterial studies within the laboratory. Optimize all available imaging modalities to acquire a comprehensive test to the standards of the organization. Performs quality exams for interpretation by a physician to assure results and data are precisely and correctly recorded.

All About You:

• RDCS registered.
• BLS certified on hire; ACLS preferred.
• ARRT registered or CVT.
• Prefer one-year experience but not mandatory.
