Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our PRN float pool across Baptist Health campuses in Jacksonville, FL. This on-site role offers varied shifts.

You will perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiography, collaborate with cardiologists, provide patient education, and help maintain equipment and department standards. BLS required; Adult Echo credentials via ARDMS or CCI must be obtained within 18 months.

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Float Pool at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville! This is a PRN, Varied Shifts opportunity. This position will be based at various Baptist Health locations.

This Cardiac Echo Sonographer must be comfortable working at up to 3 campuses. The Float team at Baptist Health is a dynamic team of professionals making an impact in the world of imaging. Cardiac Echo Sonographer Responsibilities:

Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.

Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions

Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations

Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process

Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards

Experience Requirements:

1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

Vocational School or Associate's Degree

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

*If hired, must obtain Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire.

The Cardiac Echo Sonography position will be located at Baptist Health.
