Job summary

Baptist Medical Center, part of the Baptist Health system, seeks a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join the Diagnostic Cardiology Department in Jacksonville, FL. The role is full-time, with a consistent 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of cardiac sonography experience and ARDMS or CCI credentials within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Adult Echo credentials required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous cardiac sonography experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using ultrasound techniques and providing accurate imaging and reports.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Providing cross-coverage and back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain operations.
• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintaining equipment and documenting procedures in accordance with department protocols and quality standards.

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Cardiology Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is a full-time opportunity with a shift of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.
• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.
• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.
• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.

Experience Requirements
