Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to perform high-quality transthoracic and stress echocardiography on adults and geriatrics. You will review patient history, prep, and document findings while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and experience with cardiac ultrasound. This on-site position offers opportunities in a Magnet-certified health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with Cardiac Ultrasound training and registry.
• Technical School Diploma with registry within 1 year of hire.
• RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support within 30 days.
• Experience with adult cardiac ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality transthoracic and stress echocardiography imaging per protocol.
• Review history, prep patient, and document results in the chart.
• Provide proctoring/training for colleagues, students, and fellows.
• Ensure equipment functionality and participate in quality initiatives.
