Miami Neuroscience Institute Baptist Health South Florida seeks a dedicated ECG/Stress Testing technician to operate EKG equipment and record heart activity for diagnostic purposes. You will assist with exercise stress tests, explain procedures to patients, and support quality improvement initiatives in the department.

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in ECG, Holter and stress test equipment preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform competently and efficiently in crisis situations.
• Ability to relate cooperatively with patients, families, and co-workers.

Responsabilidades

• Operates ECG/EKG equipment to record heart electrical activity for diagnosis.
• Performs stress tests, EKG, and Holter monitoring following department procedures.
• Completes patient log and charge entry before end of shift.
• Maintains and inventories EKG, Holter and stress equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and families to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Presents data for quality improvement initiatives monthly.
