Job summary

Miami Neuroscience Institute at Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to operate ECG equipment, place and scan Holter monitors, and provide preliminary results to physicians. The role supports exercise (stress) testing and ensures patient comfort throughout procedures.

The candidate will have CCI certification or equivalent, at least 1–2 years of relevant experience, and AHA BLS certification in good standing.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include CCI-certified or equivalent registry and active status.
• 1–2 years' experience with ECG/Holter/stress equipment preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required and in good standing.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognize arrhythmias and report promptly to physicians.
• Scan Holter monitors and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
• Maintain inventory of EKG, Holter, and stress equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and reassure for cooperation.
• Perform EKG, Holter monitoring, and stress tests per department policies.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Contribute to monthly quality improvement initiatives.
