Job summary

Pscfl in Miami is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to operate ECG equipment and record heart activity for diagnostic use. You will place Holter monitors, scan data, and provide preliminary results to physicians while helping patients feel comfortable.

Responsibilities include recognizing arrhythmias, maintaining equipment inventory, and performing stress tests per department guidelines. AHA BLS and CCI registry are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician or registry via CCI required.
• Experience with ECG, Holter and stress test equipment preferred.
• AHA BLS certification preferred and active.

Responsibilities

• Operate ECG/EKG equipment and record heart electrical activity.
• Place and scan Holter monitors and prepare preliminary reports.
• Recognize arrhythmias and report findings to physicians promptly.
• Maintain inventory of EKG, Holter and stress testing equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Perform stress tests and ensure adherence to department procedures.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and data reporting.
