Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a full-time RN for the Cardiac Diagnostics team on the day shift (4x9s, no nights or weekends). The RN will support TEEs, stress tests, and cardioversions for inpatients and outpatients and assist with anesthesia prep and recovery.

A BSN is required, with ADN holders needing to complete BSN within five years. One year of PACU or critical care nursing is required; Virginia RN license and AHA BLS are required at start.

Qualifications

• One year of PACU or Critical Care Nursing experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and BLS certification from the American Heart Association required at start.

Responsibilities

• Assist with TEEs, stress testing and cardioversions for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist in prep and recovery of patients undergoing TIVA/general anesthesia for these procedures.
