AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a full-time AHMG Cardiology technician to monitor and manage implanted cardiac devices. The role involves in-person and remote rhythm analysis, device interrogation, and reporting to EMR.

Responsibilities include remote monitoring of ICD/CRT devices, daily alert review, and collaboration with cardiologists. Requires BLS and high school diploma; offers day shift, benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programmer equipment, standard tests and procedures, and readings including arrhythmias.
• Ability to interpret arrhythmias and patient responses.
• Proficient in English for clear communication.
• Detail oriented and capable of independent work.
• Familiar with remote checks, in-office interrogations, and implanted device programming.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates cardiac rhythms and EKG analysis in-person and remotely.
• Interrogates, interprets, and re-programs cardiac devices with reports to EMR.
• Monitors remote heart failure reports for ICD/CRT devices with cardiologist reports in EMR.
• Evaluates remote alerts daily from device websites and prepares full disclosure reports for physician approval.
• Determines when adequate test results are obtained and consults supervisor when not.
