Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a qualified professional to administer, monitor, and reprogram medical devices to ensure patient safety and proper function.

You will educate patients, communicate device concerns to physicians, maintain documentation, and support equipment performance and supply availability. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; BLS CPR is required; 2+ years related experience or an associate/ technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• GED with 2 years of experience or Associate/Technical degree required.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers, monitors, and reprograms medical devices to ensure proper functionality and patient safety.
• Educates patients regarding procedures and addresses device-related concerns with physicians as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation and coordinates with healthcare professionals to optimize device performance.
• Monitors supply inventory and supports equipment availability and maintenance.
• Provides leadership, orientation, training, and coaching to departmental clinicians; participates in performance evaluations and related actions.
