Job summary

AdventHealth AHMG Cardiology in Orlando, FL, seeks a skilled professional to monitor and interpret critical cardiac rhythms, perform device interrogations, and provide full disclosure reports for physician approval and EMR entry.

You will remotely monitor ICD/CRT devices, review heart failure data, and triage alerts per standard protocols, collaborating with cardiology staff during daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programmer equipment, standard tests and procedures, and readings including arrhythmias.
• Ability to recognize distress signs and report potential lethal arrhythmias.
• Understanding of heart anatomy, physiology and cardiac medications.
• Detail oriented and capable of independent work.
• Clear English reading, writing, speaking and comprehension for job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates cardiac rhythms and EKG analysis in-person and remotely.
• Interrogates, interprets, and re-programs cardiac devices with EMR entry.
• Monitors remote heart failure reports for ICD/CRT devices and reports to cardiologist.
• Evaluates remote alerts daily from device websites and prepares reports for physician approval.
• Determines when adequate test results are obtained and escalates as needed.
