Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT seeks a full-time Cardiac Device Technician to perform a range of noninvasive and invasive cardiac tests in a busy EP office. You will handle pacemaker/ICD/CRT interrogations, 12-lead EKGs, rooming patients, vital signs, and chart prep to support efficient department operations.

Graduates of accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Medical Assistant programs with 1–2 years in cardiology are preferred; remote monitoring experience and device manufacturer familiarity

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Medical Assistant program.
• 1–2 years of experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac diagnostics preferred.
• Experience with pacemaker/ICD/CRT interrogation and remote monitoring platforms.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-office interrogation of pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and loop recorders.
• Review and triage remote monitoring transmissions through Pacemate.
• Escalate urgent or abnormal findings to the physician or APP for review.
• Support MRI device clearance workflows with pre- and post-MRI interrogations.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and ambulatory monitor placement.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and update histories.
• Prepare charts for visits and procedures; assist with inventory management.
• Coordinate with device manufacturers on recalls, warranties, and support.
