Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Registered Nurse for our outpatient cardiology practice. You will perform general nursing activities, assist with in-office procedures, and supervise cardiac stress tests under the cardiologist.

Requires RN license, BLS and ACLS; BSN preferred. Experience reading ECGs and supervising stress testing is preferred. Benefits from day one; daytime, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BSN preferred or higher degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing activities ensuring quality care and efficient patient flow.
• Assist cardiologist and APPs with in-office procedures and ancillary clinics.
• Supervise cardiac stress tests (nuclear, treadmill) and stress echocardiography.
• Read and interpret ECGs/EKGs and interpret test results.
• Support post-procedural follow-up in outpatient setting and maintain records.
