Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to care for patients with cardiac electronic devices in ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and a cardiac care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include device interrogation and programming, patient education, documentation in PaceArt and Epic, and adherence to ACLS/PALS protocols. A strong foundation in rhythm interpretation and patient coaching is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree required.
• 2 years relevant nursing experience required.
• 2 years background in electrophysiology preferred with implantable devices and cardiac nursing.

Responsibilities

• Enrolls and programs patients with cardiac devices in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Identify malfunctions and notify physicians when device operations are sub-optimal.
• Triage patients, discuss with physicians, and arrange follow-up visits or ED referrals.
