Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Cardiac Device Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with implanted cardiac devices. You will coordinate interrogation, programming, and triaging of device data during in-clinic visits or remote transmissions.

The role includes patient education, device data interpretation, and collaboration with providers to optimize device therapy in arrhythmia patients. Strong nursing skills in telemetry are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with background in telemetry, cardiology, electrophysiology, acute care preferred but not required.
• Direct patient care and management of remote transmissions.
• Experience with implantable cardiac devices and device data interpretation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interrogating implanted devices and programming per physician order.
• Monitor and document patient response to therapy and device setting changes.
• Address remote transmission triage and alert management, including troubleshooting devices.
• Maintain the Device Clinic Database and respond to patient and provider device-related inquiries.
