Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse - Device/EP to provide safe, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process. This role primarily serves at the Rocky River/Beachcliff location with occasional rotation to other device clinics.

The ideal candidate has device nursing experience and holds an RN license in Ohio or through a multi-state compact; BLS is required, ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the nursing process and practice.
• Uses a wide variety of technical equipment (stethoscope, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, electronic monitoring devices).

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with relationship-based care.
• Demonstrates safe practice with required clinical skills and equipment.
• Maintains clear communication and collaborates to optimize patient care and operations.
• Develops professionally and contributes to nursing practice.
• Displays leadership to influence clinical and operational outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to department policies.
• Safely maintains PHI and complies with UH codes and procedures.
