Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant, EMT, CNA, or EKG tech certification preferred and/or at least one-year of similar experience required.
• Technician (CCT or Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs office-based testing and treatments related to patient care under supervision, including Holter/ECAT registration, hook ups, and downloading devices.
• Coordinates and manages patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of clinic visits and tests.
• Acts as a resource to clinical and non-clinical staff to provide optimal patient care and communicates test results to patients.
• Provides clerical support with patient notifications and documentation, including medical records and follow-up scheduling.
• Maintains clean, functional environment; disinfects equipment and coordinates maintenance as needed; monitors device recalls.
