Job summary

HiredFirst in Savannah, GA seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiac procedures in a 600+ bed regional medical center. You will set up instruments, assist with patient positioning, and help maintain sterile technique under the circulating OR RN. The role includes instrument counts and room turnover.

Required: graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, CST certification, BLS, and 1–2 years CVOR experience; Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date. Full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Experience in operating room required.
• CVOR experience 1–2 years required.
• Current CST certification.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up instruments, equipment and supplies for all surgical procedures.
• Prepare and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport; support room turnover and counts with the circulator.
