Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the CVOR team. The role requires completing a Surgical Technology program and one year of CVOR experience, with BCLS and Surgical Technology certification.

This full-time position includes 4 x 10 hour shifts, on-call obligations, and benefits starting day one. You will prepare, maintain, and manage instruments and equipment for cardiovascular procedures, uphold sterile technique, and collaborate with surgeons, nurses,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Successful completion of Surgical Technology program, technical or military.
One year experience (CVOR preferred).

Responsibilities

Support patient care, safety, and advocacy through critical thinking and anticipation of case-specific needs.
Prepare, maintain, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and support efficient surgical workflow.
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members.
Demonstrate accountability for performance, professional development, and continuous learning.
Participate in inventory management and cost containment efforts related to supplies and instrumentation.
