Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging in an outpatient facility. You will operate CT equipment, follow protocols, and maintain infection control standards while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates have ARRT certifications (R and CT), BLS, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT, and BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures accurately, adjust techniques to optimize diagnostic quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Explain procedures to patients, address questions, ensure comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the process.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify contraindications before exams.
  • Administer contrast media using sterile techniques when required, and position patients correctly.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat as necessary, and document in RIS/PACS.
  • Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and report issues promptly.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows and compliance.

Role Overview:

The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging services at an outpatient facility, ensuring a positive patient experience. They operate imaging equipment independently, perform procedures following protocol, and maintain infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures accurately, adjusting techniques to optimize diagnostic quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Explain procedures to patients, address questions, and ensure comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the process.
  • Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify contraindications before exams.
  • Administer contrast media using sterile techniques when required, and position patients correctly.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat as necessary, and ensure proper documentation in RIS/PACS.
  • Maintain equipment, clean and disinfect work areas, and report any issues promptly.
  • Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
  • Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
