Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the cardiac critical care team at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. You will care for pre- and post-operative cardiac patients in the cardiac ICU and step-down units.

The role offers a robust orientation, 24/7/365 support, and a mix of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts (6 twelve-hour shifts over a two-week period). A nocturnist option is available.

Qualifications

• ACNPs or PAs with a minimum of 1 year of cardiac ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pre- and post-operative cardiac patients.
• Work in cardiac ICU and step-down units with autonomy after orientation.
• Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, invasive cardiologists and heart failure attendings.
