Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced Acute Care NP or PA to join the cardiac ICU/step-down team at Baystate Medical Center. You will provide care for pre- and post-op cardiac patients, collaborating with intensivists, surgeons and cardiologists in a high‑volume program.

The role is full-time with a rotating schedule (6 twelve‑hour shifts every two weeks), and there is mentorship, strong clinical development, and enrollment in a robust professional development culture.

Qualifications

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with at least 1 year cardiac ICU experience.
• Full-time position with 6 twelve-hour shifts in a 2-week period (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Mentorship and professional development opportunities within an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to pre- and post-op cardiac patients in ICU/step-down units.
• Collaborate with cardiac intensivists, surgeons and cardiologists.
• Engage in regular educational activities and professional development.
