Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the cardiac critical care team at Baystate Medical Center. You will care for pre- and post-op patients in the cardiac ICU and step-down units, with support from cardiac intensivists, surgeons, and cardiologists.

This full-time role features six twelve-hour shifts per cycle (days, nights, weekends, holidays) and includes a nocturnist option.

Qualifications

• ACNP or PA-C with 1 year cardiac ICU experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced cardiac unit.
• Strong collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Care for pre- and post-op cardiac ICU and step-down patients.
• Collaborate with cardiac intensivists, surgeons and specialists.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
