Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join the Telemetry unit on a three 12-hour shift schedule. The unit cares for patients aged 16 to 100+ with cardiac conditions and stroke cases, operating as a progressive care unit.

Qualifications

• CNA certification Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire (unless ACLS/PALS already held).
• Six months of CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services and related non-professional services for patient comfort under supervision of licensed nurse.
