Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Catheterization Lab to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, Brooklyn. The role involves exams, coordinating referrals, and assisting in Cath lab procedures under Attending supervision.

You will support inpatient care in the CCU, perform stress testing, and manage pre/post‑procedure activities. Daytime schedule with some flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Experience with ECG and blood pressure monitoring equipment – 1 year experience preferred.
• ACLS & BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examination and obtain medical history on consult service and pre‑procedure under Attending supervision.
• Evaluate and interpret patient medications, laboratory, and test results.
• Coordinate and facilitate referrals and follow‑up for cardiac procedures (Cardiac Cath, EP Studies, Device procedures, Cardiothoracic Surgery).
• Perform cardiac procedures including Stress Tests, Stress Echocardiography, Tilt Table Testing, and Nuclear Stress Testing under Attending supervision.
• Assist in Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures.
• Perform inpatient cardiovascular consults and monitor and follow‑up patients in the CCU.
• Perform non‑invasive cardiac stress testing under Attending supervision.
• Schedule: Daytime, with flexibility.
