Job summary

Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI seeks a qualified Cardiovascular Technician to operate monitoring equipment and support cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab. You will monitor ECGs, assist with devices, and ensure pre/post procedure readiness.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, plus Cath lab experience and BLS/ACLS certifications. A strong team approach and safety focus are essential in this fast-paced department.

Qualifications

• Cath lab experience required.
• Completion of an approved basic ECG interpretation course within three months of hire.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with physicians, patients and staff.
• Basic computer skills to document data and access electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Operates monitoring, recording and related equipment during procedures.
• Monitors patient electrocardiogram for dysrhythmias.
• Operates defibrillator and provides CPR in emergencies.
• Assists in pre/post procedure activities and maintains equipment calibration and QA.
