Job summary

Next Move Healthcare is seeking experienced Cath Lab Technologists to join its Cardiac Catheterization team in Peoria, Illinois. The role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures with advanced imaging and monitoring.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-registered, with at least one year of radiologic tech experience, sterile technique, and cardiovascular imaging interest.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Illinois licensure or ability to obtain IEMA credentials.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of relevant Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Ability to maintain sterile technique during invasive procedures.
• Strong patient-positioning and imaging skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Perform cine angiography, fluoroscopy, and other specialized radiologic procedures.
• Serve as scrub technologist during catheterization procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables and supplies.
• Pass catheters and devices to physicians and maintain sterile technique.
• Explain procedures to patients and help reduce anxiety.
• Prepare and position patients for cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Operate advanced radiologic equipment and adjust factors as needed.
• Monitor cardiovascular status and document procedures.
• Complete required procedural documentation and archive images.
