Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will work alongside physicians to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures, using state-of-the-art cath lab technology and a supportive team that values work-life balance.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, preparing patients and families, operating and maintaining equipment, and monitoring patient responses

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certificate (ARRT-R Radiography, or RVT, or RCIS)

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
