Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• RCIS certification is required.
• ARRT-VI or RT certification is required.
• Previous Cardiac Cath and/or Special Procedures training is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proper use of diagnostic/interventional radiographic equipment.
• Applies sterile technique in radiological procedures.
• Maintains documentation in MacLab/CardioLab and Meditech Systems.
• Interprets/recognizes heart dysrhythmias and is BCLS certified.
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies.
• Manages defibrillator usage and patient safety during procedures.
• Delivers direct patient care and assists in daily department maintenance.
• Pursues educational opportunities to expand knowledge and certifications.
