Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You will work alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

You will guide patients and families, ensure precision in treatment, and bring skill and compassion to moments that improve lives. You will be part of a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality care while balancing work and life,

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification within 1 year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care.
• Safeguard a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient.
