Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in the Austin area is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a skilled team performing lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, while preparing patients and families with care and education.

State-of-the-art cath lab technology supports high-quality patient care. You will work with a dedicated team, maintain sterile procedures, monitor patient responses, and ensure safety

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• High School Diploma or GED
• ARRT-R Radiography and RCIS within 12 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance and compassion
• Maintain a sterile environment and advocate for patient safety
