Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support physicians in lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will guide patients and families, operate advanced equipment, and ensure sterile, safe conditions in a high-quality care environment.

The role requires credentialing in cath lab technology, ARRT/RCIS/RCES pathways, and a commitment to ongoing training with strong teamwork and clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• 1 year full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience or equivalent education.
• Associate degree or 62 semester hours in health/science or related field.
• Graduate of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program.
• 800 clinical hours in an invasive cardiovascular technology program (non-programmatic).
• ARRT certification or eligibility required.
• RCIS or RCES certification within 24 months of start date.
• Certified Surgical Tech or Registered Respiratory Therapist or EMT-B/EMT-P with 10+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and advocate for patient safety.
