Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist I to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath/EP lab. You will work with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.

The role requires 0–1 year of experience, an appropriate Radiology/Cardiovascular education, and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and promote teamwork.
• Analytical and organizational abilities to perform multiple diagnostic tasks.
• Proficiency in the electronic medical record system and hemodynamic system within 3 months.
• Ability to identify and diagnose potential problems with patients or equipment and adapt priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization/electrophysiology lab.
• Work with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality cardiac care.
• Prepare and stock lab before/after procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Capture high-quality cardiac images during invasive interventions.
