Job summary

Heart Hospital of Austin is looking for a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist who will engage in both direct and indirect patient care. This role includes scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cases while monitoring hemodynamics and assisting with inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, BLS and ACLS certifications, and preferably experience in Cardiac Cath lab settings, enhancing patient care and departmental efficiency.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and document procedures in the hemodynamic system.
• Educate patients and families on procedure techniques.
• Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
