Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist/Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac, peripheral, and EP procedures. You will work with physicians, nurses, and team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include performing imaging, operating lab equipment, documenting procedures, and monitoring patient responses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS).
• Preferred: Associate degree; 1 year in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Integrates knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular physiology, pathophysiology, and procedural techniques and assists accordingly.
• Maintains expertise in current radiographic imagery techniques as they relate to invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Operates laboratory equipment; troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and contacts proper support personnel.
• Assists in monitoring the effects of procedural activities by identifying adverse reactions/conditions and properly responding.
• Completes all required documentation for procedures (regulatory, billing, image storage/archival).
