Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Fluoroscopy Certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures, imaging equipment, and radiation safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians during cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Prepares and positions patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operates fluoroscopy and imaging equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Maintains sterile technique and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Monitors patient status during procedures and communicates changes.
• Documents procedural data accurately according to requirements.
• Responds effectively to emergent situations, including cardiac and vascular emergencies.
