Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician (PRN) to join our high-performing team. You will work alongside physicians and staff to support complex cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients, and ensure precise, compassionate care.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, operating advanced equipment, and safeguarding sterile conditions.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS certification required.
• No travel and no prior work experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment.
• Monitor patient responses for safety and quality of care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
