Job summary

BayCare Staffing Resource Office currently seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week staffing pool assignment with BayCare’s Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team. The role requires scrubbing for cardiac procedures, monitoring using hemodynamic systems, and on-call duties, with shifts typically from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Minimum qualifications include radiology or respiratory credentials and relevant Cath Lab experience, plus active BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 of 5 education/experience paths listed above.
• Active BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Experience in diagnostic and invasive procedures is a plus.
• Ability to scrub for cardiac procedures and assist with implants.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac cath procedures and pacemaker implants.
• Monitor patient using hemodynamic system and document procedures.
• On call for emergent procedures.
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures with minimal supervision.

ARRT Radiologic Technologist

NBRC RRT credential

RCIS/RCES credentials

Education

Technical or Associates in Radiology

Associates in Respiratory Therapy with NBRC RRT

Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program/degree

3 years Cath Lab Interventional experience (in lieu of education)

RCIS/RCES with 2 years Cath Lab experience (in lieu of education)
